Q1 – Do we have to enter into a competitive agreement? If so, can we get an extension to the August submission deadline?

A1 – Yes, the Request For Proposals we are soliciting for are all competitive agreements. An extension to the submission deadline will not be made at this time. An extension will only be made near the submission deadline and if necessary.

 

Q2 - Are the fees based on MediCal reimbursement? If so, is that the highest rate we are allowed to charge?

A2 – If awarded, your invoices would be paid by the Federal Government. MediCal reimbursement is not applicable, and should not be considered when quoting your rates.

 

Q3 – We have agencies that are residential only and we have agencies that are outpatient only. If we cannot offer both, should we not apply?

A3 – Definitely apply for the services you offer and wish to bid for. You do not need to offer both in one location.

 

Q4 – Please clarify which district the City of South Gate falls under? Would it be South Bay/LBC or LA/Pico Rivera?

A4 – The city of South Gate would fall under the LA/Pico Rivera Request For Proposal, 0973-25-07 for substance abuse and mental health treatment services.

 

Q5 – What are the regular collection hours for testing outside the Local Options for PC 1010, PC 1011, and PC 1504?

A5 – The random drug testing hours remain the same at this time, they are from 5am to 9am.

 

Q6 – The solicitation does not include an example of a treatment plan or transitional care document. Is there a required format and fields we need to use, or can we use our versions?

A6 – The vendor can create their own treatment plan as long as they have the required items outlined in the statement of work section f, (1), pg.79 of the Statement of Work.

 

Q7 – How should we designate the Spanish speakers?

A7 – This can be designated in attachment J.7 Staff qualification statement.

 

Q8 – Do you have fillable pdfs for Section B and for any other tables and charts we need to complete, or can we make these pages into fillable pdf?

A8 – The forms are not PDF fillable. You may write your answers and scan the documents or “Add Text” in digital form. Both are permitted.

 

Q9 – Is there an RFP for juvenile sex offenders?

A9 – There are no RFPs for juvenile services. The U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services Office provides services for adult defendants/persons under supervision.

 

Q10 – We were unable to attend the meeting. Is there a website to access any information covered in the meeting?
